Had a really good stay during my 2-week US vacation. the hotel was brand-new, well-stocked, and had a view of the gondola. - the central setting of the hotel was convenient, located somewhere in the park. - Enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Alpine Union nearby. - the staff was outstandingly helpful and friendly.

Magnificent location very close to the Marriott establishment, shops and restaurants as well as a gondola leading directly to Tamarack Lodge in the Heavenly Ski Resort and several restaurants, shops and casinos. Few metres away from a modern gallery and other tourist attractions.

The Marriott Grand Residence Club in Lake Tahoe is located in a wonderful building in a great spot, close to the casinos. the staff was incredibly friendly and always pleasant.

The hotel was very nice. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. For winter visitors, the ski lifts are right outside the hotel. Location, location, location. Everything is in walking distance. Casinos, dining, entertainment.

My Review of the Marriott Grand Residence Lake Tahoe. I made a 1 month advance reservation at this Marriott Property to the tune of $390. I called and canceled the reservations within 4 days of making them as my plans had changed. When reviewing my credit card statement I found the charge but did not find the refund for promptly canceling. Upon calling today I was informed that it was a "promotional rate" and non refundable. That would have been nice to see during the reservation process!! NOT buried in the the small print on the confirmation email. Having worked as a manager in the hospitality industry for over 25 years this is just money grabbing disgusting behavior and Marriott should be embarrassed to pull such a "bait and switch" sales scam. Life happens and peoples plans change, and part of being in the hospitality industry is to accommodate and work with those changes. That is what generates good relationships and return guests. I gave Marriott 45 days to resell that room. In the future I will avoid this Marriott Property as well as any other Marriotts whenever I can. Please share, and find another location to enjoy Lake Tahoe.

The staff were very amiable and genuinely helpful. the service was very good. - the pool was very clean. - the location was perfect for me, close to the lake, the casino, and the center of the village.

Great spot right by the lake, which was absolutely stunning 🌅. Our unit was super clean and tidy, with a cozy bedroom and a nice bathroom.

It was right in the centre of South Lake Tahoe - a great location for walking out to shops, restaurants etc.

Would have preferred a bigger bed with firmer pillows. We had a Queen but a King or Super King is much better.

It was very reasonably priced- gorgeous, super clean and great staff. Definitely a totally positive experience.

Continental breakfast would be nice!

Everything here is modern and I had a great stay during my two-week US vacation, the staff are attentive and customer-focused, and the location is perfect for everything in the area.

Pool, close to heavenly, across from casinos, and a lot of shops around.

A massive apartment with full size kitchen, two bathrooms (of which one is massive), free WiFi, a fireplace. The hotel is located in front of a small mall, nearby restaurants (Heavenly Village), as well as the gondola to Heavenly Peak. The Marriott also operate a private beach area at the lake. Staff was very friendly, with special thanks to the concierge who managed to get us on a lake cruise the next day, despite most tours being totally booked out.

Nothing - this simply is an excellent Grand Residence location.
